My Personal Proposal Video
Finding Her
I wanted to go above and beyond when I proposed to my partner (now fiancé). Going to the movies was something that brought us together really early on, so I figured a short film played in a private theater would be the perfect way to ask her to marry me.

I was grateful to have the input of my friend and colleague, Darrel Harrison, as I conceptualized, scripted, and storyboarded my idea. For roughly two months, with Darrel acting as my videographer, we shot in various locations—with the help of other friends as supporting actors.

While on set, I directed the shots and collaborated with Darrel on the content we captured. Back in the "studio" (aka: hunched over our laptops in coffee shops) we both edited it to its final state.

You'll see the main part of the video below. The ending was timed out perfectly as I popped the question. In our private viewing, what followed was a compilation of sweet memories as well as funny bloopers from production as the cherry on top of an exciting idea come to life. Enjoy!
